Dear Expectant Mother,

Hello and thank you! We are Danielle & Scott. We live in Petaluma, California, with our son, Peter. We can only imagine the difficult decisions you have made as you weigh your choices for giving your child the future you want for him or her. We want you to know that we will do everything we can to support you on your journey.

We have wanted to adopt since we were first dating and began exploring our options in 2015. We were surprised to learn Danielle was pregnant in 2019. When our son turned two, we started our journey toward adoption. We feel overjoyed to have our son, Peter, but our ideal family always included two or more kids. We both have siblings and really want the companionship and support for our children that siblings can offer over a lifetime. We are very excited to welcome a second child into our family.

All About Danielle Written by Scott

Danielle grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and is a lifelong fan of the Oregon Ducks, along with her parents and two siblings. She loves the arts, multicultural experiences, healthy debate, and supporting children’s rights, such as access to education and food. Danielle is excited to share multicultural events and experiences with her children, as she did, growing up in an Asian-American and European American family. Danielle loves visiting and traveling with her siblings, taking dance classes, volunteering for local non-profits. Danielle teaches special education and enjoys assisting with extracurricular clubs and teams.

All About Scott by Danielle

Scott grew up in the north bay as one of six children in a large Irish-Italian, Catholic family and has seven nieces and nephews between the ages of 1 to 17. They are a close family with strong traditions and get together regularly to celebrate everything throughout the year.

He loves running, hiking, mountain biking, camping and working on our small farm. If he leaves town, he is usually in Lake Tahoe to meet up with his family for hiking, swimming, and eating. Scott is self-employed in the automotive business, which gives him a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our family.

Introducing Future Big Brother, Peter

Peter is 2 and a huge fan of books, airplanes, music, and all of his older cousins. He is a big helper and loves doing anything with mom and dad -cooking, doing chores, “building things”, and taking care of the dog. He has two younger cousins and is excited to have a baby sister or brother of his own. He has been feeding his baby bear and dressing and diapering his dolls. He is ready to be a big brother!

3 Fun Facts About Us
Our Home and Hobbies

We both love the outdoors and met volunteering at scout camp. We still both enjoy volunteering for the scouts, gardening, and hiking with our dog and Peter. Our home is a 100 year-old farmhouse surrounded by animals and 5 minutes from downtown Petaluma. We enjoy community events, cultural festivals, farmer’s markets, and introducing Peter to our community.

Meet Our Loved Ones

Scott’s family is enthusiastic about decorating, holidays, traditions, and celebrating. They love to be together, cook, and know how to have a good time. Dani’s family enjoys the outdoors, exploring their communities, and traveling. Holidays include cooking together, sharing cultural traditions, (Indian, Japanese, Chinese, German, and South African, most recently), and lots of playtime with the cousins.
