Arminder & Sharon

Sharon was born and raised in the UK and moved to California 7 years ago. Arminder was born and raised in California and grew up on his family Peach and Almond Farm. We met while Sharon was on vacation visiting family friends in California. We kept in touch after Sharon returned back to London and we visited each other as much as we could and knew we wanted to spend the rest of lives together. We have been married for 6 years. We love spending time together and traveling the world.

At home we can be found cuddling with our dogs and watching movies, cooking and tending to our garden. We are a loving playful couple who love to plan days out. We love to laugh together and enjoy the precious moments of our life. We love to celebrate the holidays and Christmas is our favorite holiday. We host a New Year’s Day dinner every year for our extended family and also like to host Halloween and dress up in funny costumes.

We recently purchased a 5 bedroom home in a quiet gated neighborhood in El Dorado Hills, California to raise our family. There are with excellent schools in El Dorado Hills with many parks, playgrounds and sports fields. We live close by to biking country roads and walking trails with great views of Folsom Lake.

I am so thankful to have Arminder in my life. He is loving, patient and compassionate. He has a great sense of humor. He always goes out of his way to help others. I am inspired by his hard working nature and have watched him work at the senior assisted living facility he co-owns. He takes time to listen to the residents’ stories and makes them laugh.

I love to watch him play with nieces and nephews as they bring out his playful nature and I know he will be a warm and caring father.

Thoughts About Each Other – By Arminder

Sharon is my favorite person. She is affectionate and thoughtful and a natural caregiver. This nurturing nature is shown to our dog Rafi everyday. I admire her courage for moving across the Atlantic and am lucky to call her my wife.

Whenever our friends bring their children to our home, she always has fun activities planned for them and snacks and juice boxes ready. She is very close to her godchildren in the UK. She has been there for them from day one in the delivery room to picking them up from school and planning fun days at the zoo or Legoland. Sharon is close to her family in the UK and is always Facetiming them and planning things to do with them when they come visit or when she goes back to the UK.

Our Loved Ones

Arminder’s mom lives with us in our home. She is so excited to be a grandma. Arminder’s extended family all live within 30 minutes and we see them all on a regular basis. His grandparents visit at least two days a week. We both come from large families and often gather together for BBQ’s, birthdays and holidays. We plan a winter and summer trip every year with our extended family, which has been a tradition for the last 20 years. We visit Sharon’s family in the UK yearly, and her family also come out to visit for the holidays.

A Favorite Holiday Tradition

Every Christmas we go to San Francisco and ice skate and have dinner as a family. All 19 of us!

We are so excited to raise our child in a family that is open, loving, accepting, and filled with a sense of adventure.

We will raise our child with love and teach them to be self confident, open minded and treat everyone equally. We will ensure they have the best education possible and have countless opportunities to develop their talents and pursue their dreams and goals. We strongly believe in education and believe it shows us the importance of hard work and helps turns dreams into reality.
