Support and Choices for Expectant Mothers

iStock_000011671822MediumWe are always available to talk.  Some common concerns are do you carry the child to term? If so, will you choose to parent or to place the child for adoption? We give you the education and support you need to make informed choices. We are here to provide assistance in any way we can.

Emotional support for your decision to consider adoption

We understand that you are in the process of making a very difficult decision. We encourage you to explore your adoption plan with the support of an adoption counselor to determine if it is the best decision for you and your child. We can help you find an adoption counselor in your area who will provide you with non-judgmental counseling during pregnancy and after placement. There will be no cost to you for this service.

We can also introduce you to other birth mothers who have chosen adoption. They would be pleased to talk to you on the phone or in person about their personal experience through the adoption process.

Information Is Power: Get All the Facts

Before you make a decision, it’s important to get all the facts. We will talk with you on the phone and meet you in person when possible to provide you with educational materials. We can also connect you with birth mothers who have chosen adoption.

If you decide to move forward with an adoption, you will pay no attorney fees. Necessary and appropriate pregnancy-related expenses will be covered by the adoptive family.

We will help you develop an adoption plan and match you with an adoptive family that meets your requirements. We’ll be here to support you throughout the pregnancy, labor and delivery.

Help After Delivery

We don’t forget about you after the placement of your child into its adoptive home. We will continue to be supportive of your physical and emotional health after delivery and well into the post-partum period.
